1. Local speaking practice
HumanAssist is designed so that recordings used for local practice remain on your device during the normal browser session unless a feature clearly tells you that data will be sent to an external service.
2. Transcript and browser speech recognition
Speech-to-text can depend on your browser and device. Browser speech-recognition services may process audio according to the browser provider's own terms and privacy practices. HumanAssist cannot control how a browser vendor implements that service.
3. Practice history
Recent practice history may be stored in your browser's local storage so you can see prior sessions. Clearing site data or using the in-site clear option can remove that local history.
4. AI-assisted features
If you explicitly request a feature that uses an external AI service, relevant speech or transcript data may be sent to that service for processing. HumanAssist should identify such processing when it applies.
5. Analytics and commercial events
HumanAssist may use aggregate website analytics to understand visits and performance. The commercial-event layer is designed to track actions such as opening a partner page or clicking a sponsored or affiliate link without intentionally attaching your recording or transcript to those events.
6. Sponsorships and affiliate links
Partner, sponsored and affiliate links may take you to third-party websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies. HumanAssist does not control their data practices.
7. Selling learner data
HumanAssist does not sell learner recordings or transcripts. Personally identifiable learner information should not be shared with employers or recruiters without an explicit user choice.
